Annual Report and Accounts 2010-11

Glasgow Homelessness Network released the latest Annual Report and Accounts - for 2010-11 - at our Annual General Meeting on 6^th December 2011. 

GHN director, Margaret-Ann Brünjes, says:

The conditions are just right for homelessness.

Continuing economic contraction has a direct and corrersponding impact on homelessness.

Margaret-Ann notes that the year has been spent prioritising challenges that block progress - where we need collaborative solutions - and lack agreement - where we need consensus. To date, 24 organisations have formally mandated GHN to develop and deliver a response - which has resulted in a 4-point set of conditions which we believe can serve to offset some of the impact of the econonmic conditions, and ensure that the next phase in tackling homelessness is progressive and evidence informed.
