When you make a homelessness application (either at the Hamish Allan Centre or at a Community Casework Team) your application will be assessed. Depending on the outcome of your homelessness assessment, there are a range of accommodation options open to you.
If you are unintentionally homeless then you will be entitled to permanent accommodation, but it is likely that you will be provided with temporary accommodation until permanent accommodation becomes available. The Your Rights section tells you more about what the law says about this.
The menu options on the left provide further information on temporary and permanent accommodation as well as things you need to think about when moving into your new home.
