If you feel ready to create your own CV, write a covering letter or want help with filling in application forms there are a lot of useful websites that can help.

You may be able to get help with this in the project or day centre you attend. There are also a lot of agencies that provide support with job search skills too.

• A CV is a list of the your experience, skills and jobs you have done . It shouldn't contain too much detail but should let people know about how your skills make you the best person for the job.

• A covering letter is a letter explaining why your applying for the job or lets people know that your sending an application form or CV. They should usually be quite short and easy to understand.

• An application form is a form where you fill in your contact details, your work experience and sometimes reasons why you think you should get the job. Some forms will be simple and easy to fill out, some will be longer and quite complicated.
