How can I find an NHS dentist?

If you want NHS dental treatment, you will first need to find out which dentists in your area provide NHS treatment, and then find one who is prepared to accept you as an NHS patient.

A list of dentists is available on the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde website.

You can also phone NHS24 on 08454 24 24 24 and ask for dentists who do NHS work in your area.

You should phone the dentist and ensure that they carry out NHS treatment and that they are willing to accept you as a patient. (Some dentists only work with certain groups of patients for NHS work - for example, children or people on benefits)
