Our homelessness network contributes to the improved linking and targeting of housing, oportunity and wellbeing legislation, policies, strategies, and plans as well as service design and development. This is acheived through
- investigating and reporting on the impact of policies and strategies on people affected by homelessness
- briefing and consulting our networks about proposed legislation, policies, strategies and plans which impact on homelessness
- responding from a holistic perspective to proposals for legislation, policies, strategies and plans which impact on homelessness
- developing, promoting and facilitating coordinated cross-sector and systemic approaches to understanding and monitoring homelessness outcomes (for example prevention, crisis response, and resettlement and tenancy sustainment)
- investigating, analysing and informing about homelessness, its causes, risks, triggers and impacts and people's experiences of it to support our aims
