Shared Solutions Spring 2010

Integrating Service User Participation in the Glasgow Community Health and Care Partnerships

In partnership with Glasgow's then Community Health and Care Partnerships (CHCP's), GHN worked to integrate Service User Participation into the planning and delivery of homelessness and other services in local areas.

The model for this work was based on a successful pilot in Glasgow West CHCP in 2008, and it enables systematic input at a strategic and service level from service users, service providers, planners and members of local communities.

As part of this work GHN hosted 'Shared Solutions Workshops' across the city.  The workshops brought together a wide cross-section of people involved in or affected by homelessness - from service managers to service users and members of the local community.  Working together in small groups, people were asked to identify issues relating to homelessness in their area and then look at ways of solving these issues.

The reports from the Spring 2010 Workshops can be downloaded using the links below.

In addition to the Workshops, GHN also provides the facility for services to input service user feedback through this website. Participating services can submit service user feedback which is beyond the remit of their service for inclusion in our reports.

Copies of full and summary reports from previous workshops are available here.
