Glasgow Homelessness Network provides training on issues involving homelessness to its members and to the wider community.
Current and future training
All local authority areas in Scotland are now developing a new way of understanding and responding to the housing needs of local people. This is called "Housing Options" and is about combining a person's legal rights to a home with a broader look at all the possible options open to them.
Frontline staff - those that facilitate the Housing Options appraisal - are at the very heart of making Housing Options a positive and empowering process for local people in housing need.
A leaflet describing GHN's Housing Options training - called "Opting In..." - is available to download using the link below.
