A suicidal young man, Davie is talking to a passer-by. Davie's story unfolds in flashback from his Mum’s death, and family breakdown. His “friends” desert and betray him. Broke, jobless, homeless, and alone, he considers his ruined life, and despairs. The final scene, in the present, reveals Davie's fate.
